The Principle of Minimizing Personal Data

One of the main principles relating to the processing of personal data requires that the data collected be limited to what is strictly necessary. It is the principle of minimization.
The principle of minimization requires that the data be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes of the treatments. In other words, personal data is only collected if the purpose of a treatment cannot be achieved otherwise.
To illustrate this principle of data minimization, in this video, I present three case studies as well as best practices for implementing the principle of minimization.
